Atoms for Peace, Depeche Mode, and Phoenix Join Full Austin City Limits ’13 Lineup

Atoms for Peace, Depeche Mode, Kings of Leon, Phoenix, Wilco, and Lionel Richie will be among the headliners at this year’s Austin City Limits Music Festival, event organizers announced today. Those artists will join previously revealed headliners the Cure and Muse at ACL Festival, which takes place October 4 to 6 and October 11 to 13.

Queens of the Stone Age, Vampire Weekend, and the National, are also on the lineup, along with Kendrick Lamar, fun., Passion Pit, Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand, and the Shouting Matches, a side project of Justin Vernon from Bon Iver. As previously hinted by ACL organizers in a series of viral clues, other acts on the bill include D’Angelo, Neko Case, Haim, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Toro y Moi, the Joy Formidable, Local Natives, Shuggie Otis, Kaskade, Smith Westerns, Junip,  and Portugal. The Man.

Highlights from this year’s seriously stacked lineup don’t stop there, though. The bill also includes Tame Impala, Grimes, Divine Fits, Purity Ring, FIDLAR, Phosphorescent, Eric Church, Silversun Pickups, Thao & the Get Down Stay Down, Foxygen, Savages, Autre Ne Veut, Wild Nothing, Hundred Waters, Parquet Courts, Pinback, Jimmy Eat World, Okkervil River, the Black Angels, the Mavericks, Delta Rae, White Denim, JC Brooks and the Uptown Sound, Widowspeak, and Jacuzzi Boys, to name a large handful.
