We here at SPIN.com got all excited when much-missed Los Angeles art rock trio Autolux announced Transit Transit, their first album since 2004 expected to drop later this year. And now we have even more to celebrate: The band have announced their first U.S. tour since 2005, beginning August 28 in San Francisco, CA.

The month-long jaunt — their first-ever headlining U.S. tour — will take band members Eugene Goreshter, Carla Azar, and Greg Edwards to the East Coast and back, culminating with a performance in Costa Mesa, CA, on September 27. Along the way the group will perform at New York’s All Tomorrow’s Parties festival, curated by the Flaming Lips.

While you wait for the tour kick off, listen to one of SPIN.com’s fave Autolux tracks: “Turnstile Blues,” one of the best from the band’s 2004 debut, Future Perfect.
