Whether it’s Gossip Girl, double cheeseburgers, or "sick" days off work, we all have guilty pleasures. And now Coldplay frontman and Gwyneth Paltrow's better half, Chris Martin, has admitted his: An affection for Canadian rockers Nickelback.

Possibly feeling a radio-rock kinship for his often insulted, mega-selling peers, Martin -- as earnest as ever -- voiced his support for Chad Kroeger and Co. to Absolute Radio DJ Christian O'Connell last week, stating he has "nothing but respect" for the group. [via NME.com].
"They take a lot of flak from people who have never done fuck all in their life. And I think they're great. That is my final word." Can we expect a collaboration, Mr. Martin?

Nickelcrap is terrible, and you don't need to make music
in order to have a say in this matter.
