SPIN profile subject EMA went looking for meaning in the digital abyss and she came back with The Future’s Void, an album whose bleak title belies the fact that it’s a fantastic work portending many happy returns from the South Dakota-bred artist. As it turns out, one of those has already arrived: a bonus cut from that very same LP dubbed “Drown,” previously unheard by the Internet’s collective ears.
