Any doubts about the landmark status of Jimmy Eat World’s 1999 album Clarity were erased earlier this year: The band sold out a ten-date U.S. tour to celebrate Clarity‘s 10th anniversary, playing the entire album each night. They’re continuing the festivities with next week’s release of Clarity Live, recorded during their March 7 tour-closing hometown gig in Mesa, Arizona. Download “A Sunday” from the live album below!
On the song, the band recreate the chiming guitars and uplifting vocal melody of the original album version, while the audience sings along loud and clear to its lyrics of regret: “I have to change the course I send myself / Gotta live with that / With that.”
