Lights Resolve
Lights Resolve, formed by three Lawrence, New York, high school pals in 2006, has been riding a steady streak toward success: The band toured with Straylight Run and the Used. And after impressing judges Chris Carrabba of Dashboard Confessional and Brendon Urie and Ryan Ross of Panic at the Disco, they won MTV2 and Time Warner's Rock Battle NYC and opened the Newark, NJ, stop of Dashboard Confessional and Panic and the Disco's fall tour.
The trio's sound on their two self-released records is diverse -- as much U2 as the Used. Their latest track, "Dreaming of Love" (below), mixes emo lyrics ("I've been dreaming of love / where did you go") with soaring guitars and punk urgency.

LR's music makes me weak in the knees.
Usually with a newly emerging band it can be hit or miss. But every once in a while a new up and coming band comes along that you know will make it BIG and Lights Resolve is one of those bands. Their music appeals to all… even if you are in your 40’s and that is what makes them as good as they are. Go to iTunes and download their album definitely worth the $5.94. All their songs are FANTASTIC!!

!!! I keep hearing their name come up everywhere! I am absolutely a fan, and would love to see them get a record contract! I think they've certainly earned it, and have made a name for them selves across the country. They have worked harder than most in this scene, and its about time the talent is rewarded. And dayyuuummmmmmmm those three have got it goinnnn onnnnnn, if I ever saw a trio that did before.
AnnaNYC I have seen Lights Resolve in concert many times and each time they get better and better and they are the nicest guys I've ever met! Of course they deserve a contract, don't miss out on this band, they're gonna be big stuff really soon and they are not gonna fade out like so many do. They truly rock!
