Ghostland Observatory Reveal Inner Dynamic

The eclectic, humorous duo dish on Foreigner, roadie relations, and their sensuous musical bond.

Austin, Texas' funk, punk, and soul duo Ghostland Observatory are a handful both on and offstage, rousing feet and bodies to their electro grooves to scores of fans, and later acting the merry pranksters, lounging amidst an interview with SPIN.com, respectively. Backstage at Vegoose after their midday set Sunday (Oct. 28), frontman Aaron Behrens and caped keyboard savant Thomas Ross Turner get comfy, reclining to chew the fat on assorted '80s bands ("We love Foreigner"), the relationship between Turner and his longtime engineer ("He tried to hit me with a bong"), and their steadfast musical dynamic ("We like the way each other look naked"). Check out the interview, plus clips of Ghostland Observatory performing below. INTERVIEW BY MACKENZIE WILSON / FILMED AND EDITED BY ERIC NOWELS
