  • After a fan asked Timbaland on Twitter why his old pal/collaborator Missy Elliott didn’t make it onto his latest album, Shock Value 2, the producer responded by sharing a previously unreleased collaboration between the two artists titled “Swat Dat Fly.” “Timbo u really went n the Vault 4 this joint!” Elliott tweeted. “We did this joint like 5 yrs ago unmixed and still bang!” Hear it here.

  • Justin Bieber was the big winner at this year’s American Music Awards, taking home four trophies last night, including Artist of the Year. Bieber beat out Eminem, Ke$ha, Lady Gaga, and Katy Perry for the top honors. “Truly I don’t know how this is possible since I’ve been singing Eminem since I was three,” Bieber said in his acceptance speech.   • After wrapping up his tour with Grinderman, Nick Cave says he’ll get to work on a new Bad Seeds record, which he plans to release next year. “I’ve got to write one,” he says. “I haven’t written anything yet, but that’s not how I go about things anyway.   • Wavves‘ frontman Nathan Williams was arrested in Germany for possession of marijuana, according to Pitchfork. Police found a bag of weed during a roadside check; Williams was released on bail. “I gave [the police] €200 and walked out…not a terrible deal,” Williams said in a statement. “And now I’m getting high again.”
