With a whopping 130 bands scheduled to perform, the eighth annual Austin City Limits Music Festival (Oct. 2-4) is sure to be one to remember. While the Beastie Boys were forced to cancel due Adam Yauch’s battle with cancer, the festival still boasts Kings of Leon, Dave Matthews Band, and Pearl Jam as headliners, with New York City art-punks Yeah Yeah Yeahs added to the bill.

If that wasn’t enough, be sure to expect mind blowing performances by supporting acts such as Mos Def, Arctic Monkeys, and stoner grunge supergroup Them Crooked Vultures, featuring Dave Grohl, Josh Homme, and John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin fame.

The festival kicks off in Zilker Park on October 2nd, and finishes the night of October 4th with a surefire performance by Pearl Jam. Be sure to look out for performances by the Dead Weather, Sonic Youth, Grizzly Bear, and the Decemberists as well.

The show is only two weeks away, and has already completely sold out, but stay tuned as SPIN will be on the ground in Texas to cover all the incredible performances. Plus get more info about the festival at ACLFestival.com.
