Lil Wayne Is Reportedly Suing Cash Money for $51 Million

Lil Wayne, Cash Money, Lawsuit,

Lil Wayne’s feud with his label, Cash Money, is officially getting serious. That rumored $8 million lawsuit was way off, as according to TMZ, Weezy is suing Birdman’s label for a whopping $51 million. He’s alleging that the comapny did not pay him the $8 million advance on the Tha Carter V, or the additional $2 million the promised him upon completion of the long-delayed album. As a result, he says he’s entitled to leave the label, and to take tens of millions with him. Wayne is also asking a judge to name him a joint copyright owner of all Young Money recordings, including Drake and Nicki Minaj’s work. Still no word on when to realistically expect Tha Carter V, but maybe don’t hold your breath.
