LISTEN: Linkin Park Side-Project Dead By Sunrise

Dead By Sunrise is the don't-call-it-a-solo-project solo project from Linkin Park's non-rapping frontman Chester Bennington, perhaps slyly capitalizing on the sexy vampires craze. "Let Down" is the second track from their debut album, Out of Ashes, due October 13.

More synth-driven and less outwardly Linkin Parky than the first release, "Bound For Glory," "Let Down" is a moody little thing, but that's hardly new terrain for Bennington. An unhealthy mix of overindulgence and marital discord is said to have been the source of bad feelings this time around, so this is meant to be cathartic. Your mileage may vary, but listen here for yourself.
