Whether you're diving into the crazed musical onslaught of Austin, TX's SXSW next week in person or from a distance, prepare yourself with Spin at SXSW 2008 Radio, a collection of tunes on Slacker, featuring music from Spin's favorite artists going into the festival.
The station, running the gamut from alt-rock kings R.E.M. to lesser known acts like Aussie popstress Sia, Swede crooner Jens Lekman, and stateside acoustic act Rogue Wave, will help listeners cut through the fat and discover the artists poised to steal the show at this year's SXSW.

The station has some really great programming and the fact it jumps from some really popular bands to less known musicians is pretty sweet. I love radio from in the car to being home or listening online, im sure the stations love the listeners from the net and thank god they got the royalties worked out for a time some local stations had to pull the plug on their internet broadcasts.
