The triumph of Dave Chappelle’s takeover of Radio City Music Hall continues with an altogether epic performance from rhyme deity Nas, who can be seen above outfitting his canonical Illmatic with a live orchestra. Even the emcee’s banter between songs reaches new dramatic heights with the support of the swelling strings, as the man who penned the rap Bible verbally accepts uncertainty: “Now I’m in the rap game… I still don’t know what’s next.” While Nas did perform that entire 1994 album, the clip seen here captures “N.Y.
