If we needed any reminders that Neko Case’s Middle Cyclone is one of 2009’s best albums, her performance last night on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon did the trick. With her stellar (and heavily bearded!) backing band in tow, the red-haired rock’n’roll phenom stormed through the album’s stirring “Red Tide,” with Case’s smoky voice shining, front and center.
