New Cash Compilation Includes Later Years

After the man in black passed away a little over two years ago, his legacy will be futher cemented by the release of a new Cash hits compilation called The Legend of Johnny Cash. This is the first compilation of Cash’s work that includes his later classics released on Rick Rubin’s American Recordings imprint like 1994’s hit “Delia’s Gone,” and the 1996 cover of Soundgarden’s “Rusty Cage.” The rest of the 21 track compilation is a synthesis of the posthumously released 2003 box set Unearthed, and features “Ring of Fire” and a “Boy Named Sue.” The Legend of Johnny Cash will be released on October 25, three weeks shy of the November 18 premiere of the Joaquin Phoenix/Reese Witherspoon Cash biopic, Walk the Line.
