Paramore Hit the Studio, Grohl Slams ‘Glee’ + More

  • Paramore are laying down tracks this week in Los Angeles for new album — their first since Josh and Zac Farro split in December. “Just got a call from [guitarist Taylor York],” singer Hayley Williams Tweeted. “He and [Jeremy Davis] just touched down in L.A.! We’re recording a couple new songs this week!”

  • Dave Grohl has slammed Glee creator Ryan Murphy for his nasty comments about rock bands who won’t let their music be included on the hit FOX show. “It’s every band’s right, you shouldn’t have to do fucking Glee,” Grohl said. “And then the guy who created Glee is so offended that we’re not, like, begging to be on his fucking show… fuck that guy for thinking anybody and everybody should want to do Glee.” Grohl is latest in a string of rockers who have been outspoken about not wanting their music on the show, including Kings of Leon‘s Jared Followill and Slash.   • MF Doom is teaming up with Thom Yorke for a few collaborative songs, which the reclusive rapper hopes will lead to a full album. “We’re working on some duets, some duet songs and shit,” he said. “Just like preliminary shit, but we’ll probably end up doing a whole record together.” Yorke previously contributed a remix of “Gazillion Ear, ” from Doom’s 2009 comeback album Born Like This.
