Peter Bjorn & John Debut New Album Stateside at W New York

Last Tuesday (March 17), Peter Bjorn & John performed a live set at W New York as part of W Hotels' Wonderlust Live music series sponsored by MasterCard and SONY. The event marked the Swedish trio's first U.S. performance in anticipation of their upcoming album Living Thing. Heather D'Angelo of Au Revoir Simone joined the Swedes on stage for an encore and performance of their catchy 2006 hit, "Young Folks."

While the show was almost entirely invitation only, avid PBJ fans could purchase a package of two tickets and an overnight stay at the hotel for $549 -- or free for one lucky SPIN sweepstakes winner!

Spotted among the concertgoers: actresses Julia Stiles and Parker Posey; Jules DeMartino and Kate White of the Ting Tings; and Beirut frontman Zach Condon. Belvedere Vodka provided courtesy vodka cocktails and kept the party swinging!
