Watch the Postal Service Kick Off Reunion Tour With Jenny Lewis in Reno

postal service, give up, tour

The Postal Service delivered the first performance on their long-awaited reunion tour at Reno’s Grand Sierra Theatre last night (April 9), and footage from the gig has arrived online. Ben Gibbard led laptop virtuoso Jimmy Tamborello through Give Up highlight “We Will Become Silhouettes,” turning in a nimble vocal performance before running over to a drumkit to supply punchy percussion. Jenny Lewis and Laura Burhenn (Mynabirds, Bright Eyes) round out the band’s live lineup, which is set to hit the stage at Coachella this weekend and next.

This current trek is the Postal Service’s first time on the road since 2003; find tour dates below, after the set list from last night’s Reno show (via Pitchfork). Fans can now also buy the two-disc Give Up: Deluxe 10th Anniversary Edition reissue, which includes a bonus disc featuring recently unveiled tracks “A Tattered Line of String” and “Turn Around.”
