More than two months after her altercation with Chris Brown, Rihanna has confirmed her first comeback gig.

The star will perform at a May 28 concert in Dubai. According to a spokesman for Dubai Tourism, approximately 25,000 tickets will be going on sale in the next couple of days. A location has yet to be determined, but a custom-made stage in the desert is said to be a likely possibility (via E! News).

Rihanna, 21, is reportedly continuing work on her next album in a studio in Santa Monica, CA. “Rihanna seems determined to move on,” a source told UK tabloid Daily Mirror.

Meanwhile, Brown, 19, has been closely scrutinized following reports that he has been romantically linked to Natalie Mejia, singer for pop group Girlicious, and his former hometown girlfriend Erica Jackson.

The rumors around Brown’s relationship with Mejia were fueled after the two were spotted leaving a Hollywood tattoo parlor over the weekend. But an unidentified spokesperson for Brown claimed that outing didn’t mean anything.

“Chris was in a Hollywood tattoo parlor with a woman from the recording studio named Dean, who was getting a tattoo. (Chris did not get a tattoo),” Brown’s rep told People magazine. “Natalie Mejia was there with Dean,” the source added. “[Reports] that Natalie Mejia is Chris’ new girlfriend are false.” The rep also said that reports claiming Brown is back together with his former hometown girlfriend, University of Mary Washington student Jackson, are also false.

Mejia also confirmed the tattoo parlor visit to Radar Online, and added, “things are going well between us but I really do not want to comment much more than that right now. [Brown] has treated me like a gentleman at all times actually and there are no complaints.”

Brown pleaded not guilty last Monday to felony charges of assaulting and threatening to kill Rihanna. The next hearing in the case is April 29.
