Robyn and Snoop Dogg Swap Genders in Untouchable ‘U Should Know Better’ Video

Robyn, Snoop Dogg, "U Should Know Better"

Robyn’s Body Talk was one of the best albums of 2010. It could be one of the best albums of 2013, too. The Swedish pop singer has finally shared a video for her Snoop Dogg collaboration “U Should Know Better,” and it’s as fully realized as her more promptly released Body Talk clips for “Dancing on My Own” or “Call Your Girlfriend.” Directed by Robyn’s stylist-collaborator Decida, this one shows Robyn as a bike-riding boy with a Neneh Cherry poster in his bedroom and Snoop Dogg as a woman who befriends him. It’s the type of concept you might expect from fellow Swedes the Knife, but part of Robyn’s gift is her ability to be forward-thinking and true to her ideals without ever being what you’d call “difficult.” That isn’t easy. Nor, to quote the song, is it anything to “fuck with.” Three years? No time at all.
