Smalls' Family Gets B.I.G. Bucks

Biggie's family was given "One More Chance" to claim a victory in their son's memory and on Thursday (March 29), they succeeded.

The Los Angeles City Council approved payment of $1.1 million to Biggie's family, and a U.S. district judge declared a mistrial in the case the Wallace family brought against the city last year, according to Reuters. The judge cited the LAPD for concealing evidence in the wrongful death trial, which suggested B.I.G. was murdered by rogue LAPD officers.

The family will reportedly use the $1.1 million to pay legal costs, and says it will pursue the wrongful death lawsuit.
