Snoop Dogg Arrested

Snoop Dogg had another unfortunate airport issue Thursday (Oct. 26) when he was arrested at Burbank, CA’s Bob Hope Airport on suspicion of illegal drug and gun possession. The rapper was stopped by airport police officers at a loading zone for a vehicle code violation, but when the cops searched his vehicle, they found a gun and marijuana. “There was no basis for this arrest,” Snoop’s attorney, Donald Etra, told the AP. “We believe that once this is cleared up, all charges will be dismissed.” Snoop posted $35,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 12. The Orange County district attorney’s office is also considering pressing charges against the rapper after he was found carrying a 21-inch collapsible baton as he boarded a New York-bound flight. Earlier this year, the rapper was banned from the U.K. after a well-publicized scuffle at London’s Heathrow Airport.

Talk: Shouldn’t Snoop just invest in a tour bus? Or a private jet? Seriously. COMMENT
