Watch frontman Andy Hull belt out four new songs at our NYC office!
By Larry Fitzmaurice 03.16.09 8:08 AM
Up-and-coming Atlanta quintet Manchester Orchestra are making a name for themselves with a raucous guitar sound that's deepened by frontman Andy Hull's emotional lyrics and tender vocals (check out "I Was a Lid" for proof). Hull's recent solo acoustic performance at SPIN's NYC office treated some 25 staffers to the band's softer side.

Manchester is amazing!!
These recordings and the video are such great quality! Manchester's music works as just acoustic but amazes when you hear the whole band. Thanks for posting these. Can't wait for the album.

this is amazing!!!! lets us download it!!! god they are so amazing!
If you are from Georgia, like Manchester, you'll know that they've already "made it"... Andy is amazing alone, and the band is just impeccable as a whole. One of the best "local" bands out of Atlanta.
Got something to say?
