Stream the King Khan & BBQ Show’s Commanding Comeback Album ‘Bad News Boys’

King Khan & BBQ Show

Montreal-based garage-rock lifers King Khan & BBQ Show triumphantly return after a six-year hiatus with a swift kick to the face on their new album Bad News Boys, out on February 24. Their first album since 2009’s Invisible Girlleaves little to be desired with an abundance of punk attitude, heavy basslines and old-school sensibilites. The album’s single “Alone Again” will charm you with its gritty, back-to-basics hooks and suprising doo-wop backing vocals. “When Will I Be Tamed” has smooth lyrics (“If you believe me darling, I’ll always be true”) that would make The Drifters swoon, followed by a gravelly rock and roll wail that rivals those of Roger Daltrey. The band’s revival keeps its raucous, retro sound until the last fuzzy guitar riff.

Delve into this punchy, raw trip proving that these old friends are not done rocking just yet. Stream the album Bad News Boys, released on February 24 on In the Red Records
