Teen Classroom Shooter: "Hail Marilyn Manson"
News
The Louisiana teen who opened fire in a crowded middle school classroom yesterday before attempting suicide wrote that he wanted to join the Marines, and professed a love for rockers Marilyn Manson and AC/DC, according to the Thibodaux Daily Comet.
Fifteen-year-old Justin Doucet walked into a seventh-grade classroom in Lafourche Parish, LA, yesterday morning. He pointed a gun at language teacher Jessica Plaisance and ordered her to say "Hail Marilyn Manson." When Plaisance refused, Doucet fired, the bullet narrowly missing her. He then left the classroom, walked to a nearby bathroom, and shot himself in the head.
Doucet survived the suicide attempt and remains in critical but stable condition at Terrebonne General Medical Center at Houma, LA.
Authorities found a journal they believe is Doucet's, along with a suicide note in his bookbag. The note contains references to Manson, as well as hard-rockers AC/DC. Doucet also wrote: "I will commit suicide after the killings hahaha."
Police believe he was planning an attack of greater magnitude against the school.

I don't get it. Marilyn Manson is just a musitian/entertainer. I don't think he means to have anyone, kill someone else. This is all absurd. I am in Colorado. I was in 6th grade when Columbine happened and some of my friends, because they listened to M. M. had to do a school therapy session once a week. I think that was a bit extreme at 11.. but it looks like it got to the middleschoolers. Still.. stop blaming music. Find the real reason why that kid would want to hurt everyone.

marilyn is the best. The weirdo's that decide to kill because they've listened to a few of his tracks as well as listening to other artists need their heads looking at. If society are looking for someone to blame then look no further than video games and soaps!
