Stream Tori Amos’ Perfect Return ‘Trouble’s Lament’

Tori Amos 'Trouble's Lament' Stream Unrepentant Geraldines

Tori Amos has shared the first taste of a brand new album titled Unrepentant Geraldines. As Stereogum points out, this will be the ’90s baroque-pop piano powerhouse’s first “real” album since 2009’s Abnormally Attracted to Sin. This, because her interim output has comprised classical originals, covers, and remakes of her own work. The first taste of the new set is “Trouble’s Lament,” and it’s an undeniably good look. “Trouble needs a home, girls / Trouble needs a home / She fell out with Sata / Now she needs a home,” the shadowy song begins. Folksy guitar and drums are met by roiling keys, and a little vocal nod to Kate Bush if you’re listening closely enough. More Amos here.
