Tour Updates: Against Me!, LCD Soundsystem

AGAINST ME!
The Floridian punk outfit have just announced a 21-date North American trek in support of White Crosses (out June 8), their high anticipated follow up to SPIN’s 2007 Album of the Year New Wave. The trek kicks off April 16 in Greenville, SC, and wraps up May 11 in San Antonio, TX. LCD SOUNDSYSTEM
The Brooklyn electro outfit are also gearing up for a jaunt across the states this spring in celebration of the May 18 release of their forthcoming third album, This Is Happening. DFA-founder/frontman James Murphy and his band — who will warm up with a stop at Coachella and a Euro trek — will open the U.S. outing proper-like with a two-day stint at NYC’s Terminal 5 on May 20-21.

NEON INDIAN
With their excellent debut Psychic Chasms, this Austin, TX-based psych-pop outfit was picked as one of SPIN’s Artists to Watch in 2010. This spring frontman Alan Palomo and Co. will spread their danceable beats, carefree vocal melodies, and Blade Runner-esque synths across the nation, kicking off in New York City on May 12. The tour will also feature gigs with Massive Attack and Peanut Butter Wolf, before closing out July 17 in Milwaukee.
