Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig makes a guest appearance on an upcoming episode of Adult Swim’s The Jack and Triumph Show with 30 Rock star Jack McBrayer and Triumph the Insult Comic Dog. What happened next might surprise you, but Triumph insulted Koenig, if you can believe it. In the short clip embedded above, Triumph and McBrayer are working at a coffee shop, and the cantankerous dog repays Koenig’s positive review by insulting Vampire Weekend and Koenig’s mother, as he is wont to do. McBrayer gets a nice dig at the singer (and also himself) when he noted that he met Koenig once before at the “2011 Men Who Look Like Boys Convention.” It’s all, as Koenig says, “unnecessarily cruel.” Pick up some Aloe Vera and watch it above.
