Velvet Revolver's Hired Gun: Pharrell

News

He may look too skinny to support a neck full of gold and ice, but nevertheless, Scott Weiland is about to get a hip-hop makeover.

Velvet Revolver has enlisted sought-after hip-hop producer Pharrell Williams to collaborate on their sophomore album, according to Billboard.com. In addition, Williams is also joining a solo Weiland in the studio for the track, "Happy," which is slated to appear on the frontman's second solo album.

Meanwhile, in Williams' non rock-centric world, the artist/producer has big plans to enter the studio with Slim Thug, Snoop Dogg, Jay-Z, Nas and Ludacris.
