WATCH: Adorable Lo-Fi Princess Best Coast

Bethany Cosentino, the lo-fi L.A. singer-songwriter who records as Best Coast, is our new indie crush — fall in love yourself by watching her new video for “When I’m With You” below.

In the clip, Cosentino struts around beaches and fast food parking lots on a date with an unmistakable clone of Ronald McDonald (although his signature golden arches logo is replaced by the initials “BC”). The couple munch on burgers, pet cats, and drive around in Ronald’s Jeep as Best Coast’s reverb-laden pop gem plays in the background.

Thanks to five delightfully sunny 7″ releases (and nods of approval from cult-icons like Thurston Moore and Bill Murray), we named Best Coast one of SPIN’s 50 Must-Hear Bands at SXSW.

A full-length debut is on the way later this year, but, in the meantime, Cosentino plans to release a sixth 7-inch single, Far Away, on May 3, featuring two previously unreleased songs: “Far Away” and “Everybody’s Gone.” The limited-edition single will available exclusively as a free gift with the purchase of Eskuche headphones in select retailers beginning May 3.

Cosentino and her band wrap a U.S. tour this week, and will spend much of the spring touring the U.K. and Europe.
