Lady Gaga just released the music video for her latest single, “Alejandro,” and if you thought its preview on Larry King was overly sexual — whew! — you might want to cover your eyes. Watch the video below.

Directed by famed fashion photographer Steven Klein and clocking in at a lengthy eight minutes and 43 seconds, the “Alejandro” video is another twisted Gaga epic. Like an arty mash-up of Madonna’s “Vogue” video, soft-core porn, and Weimar era war movies, the clip shows Gaga, in a black funeral-style dress with a lace veil, mourning a human’s bloody heart; appearing dressed in a latex nun’s gown and swallowing a rosary; and wearing a bra with machine guns protruding from her breasts as she dances with a legion of pretty boys sporting leather military gear. Later, she simulates sex with them while carrying a black whip.

During her interview on CNN, Gaga said the video has a “homoerotic military theme…. It is a celebration of my love and appreciation for the gay community, my admiration of their bravery, their love for one another and their courage in their relationships. To be gay and live openly in this society requires tremendous strength. … I admire it and envy it in some ways.”

Summer 2010 will be action packed for Gaga fans: the pop star is touring the nation, headlining Chicago’s Lollapalooza, and recording her “bigger, better” next album along the way.
