What´s up with SPIN's Paramore fixation?!

Everyday there's something new on this site saying how great they are and how amazing and SPIN-approved their new CD is.

How much money is their record company giving you SPIN?

You are the last reliable music resource in the world (gave up on RS a long time ago) so don't lose your street cred with this bullshit.

By the way... PARAMORE and their fabricated angst (yeah... Hayley Williams has such a hard life being rich and beautiful) SUCK.

I actually like this album and have become more capable of admitting to friends that I like this band! I admit that there's catchiness. I also am aware of the demographic in the crowd during the few performances I've seen them. But, I find that her lyrics possess refreshing honesty and insight for a woman of 20. I also love the riffage, exciting bass lines, and powerful drum fills that the men bring to this band.

I have only recently begun to admit to my friends just how much I listen to this band on the treadmill or in the car. But, fuck it! I'm not too close minded or judgmental to trash them! Hell, many Spin readers (myself included) enjoy some crappy, poppy, catchy stuff! I have to admit that Spin is spot on with their support of this band, regardless of their commentary on the color of Hayley's hair. It is nice that she's made the change, though!

I guess if this shite band gets shoved down our throats long enough we might actually start to listen to them...

Kudos Spin on being at the forefront of new & innovative music. I'll start reading your magazine again when your hardon for these cookie cutter mtv bands wears off.

i love paramore, but this version is BS, its well not as heavy as the actual song??!?! not that they are a metal band or anything, but its like they have turned the distortion off....i like this on ein particular coz its heavy for paramore.........and f&^* the blonde hair, who cares??

Hey there!! I wouldnt say i love the new blond do' cause it makes her look blah to my opinion. But then again, just like me i guess, she does the fast change just so you people are talking about it and it surely does work ha!!
I liked it better when it was either orange-yellow-red or red but then again its her hair right!!! For the album, i was surprisly surprised to hear songs like The Only Exception and Turn it off but i like them. I'm more fan of Careful, Ignorance and All I wanted but eh, thats my taste. I'm really proud that they talk openly about their band problems they had, makes them more real. And you guys who're into blasphemy you're just feeling bad with yourself. I'm not a Parawhore (I'm actually 26) but I'm a fan. I discovered them with their All We Know Is Falling album... when you bullshitalkers know about them since Decode.....

Funny that you guys will pick on Paramore, and then after that you'll go panting after Tokio Hotel. At least Hayley Williams can SING. By the way, Conan's studio has bad acoustics, so EVERYONE that performs there sounds bad. And Hayley was recovering from laryngitis. Haters.
