Winehouse to Rehab, Courtney Sued + More

  • British tabloid The Sun reports that Amy Winehouse has checked herself into rehab in London. Her rep confirmed to the paper that she has “embarked on treatment at [rehab facility] The Priory.” Winehouse is scheduled to perform a run of shows starting June 18 in Serbia.

  • Courtney Love is embroiled in another Twitter defamation lawsuit, this time with her one-time lawyer, Rhonda Holmes, who claims the rocker defamed her online by implying she was bribed during efforts to pursue money reportedly stolen from the estate of Kurt Cobain. Holmes is seeking unspecified damages for libel, invasion of privacy, and “intentional interference with an economic advantage.”In related news, Love gave a revealing interview with sobriety-focused website The Fix, where she opened up about getting clean.
