British up-and-comers the xx — one of SPIN’s 10 Artists to Watch in 2010 — have canceled the remainder of their European tour, after singer Romy Madley Croft’s father died earlier today.
The electro-rock band was scheduled to play six more dates around Europe, including stops in France, Italy, and Germany, before heading back to the U.K. and then to the States for a tour that kicks off in mid-March with a bevy of gigs at SXSW.
The canceled dates are as follows:
2/20, St. Malo, France
2/21, Strasbourg, France
2/23, Rome, Italy
2/24, Milan, Italy
2/25, Munich, Germany
2/27, Cologne, Germany
