Enjoying the "refreshing" and "divine" climate of the California desert after a three-month stint in the U.K., Floridian blog-darlings Black Kids took a minute at Spin's Coachella pad to discuss their recent appearance on British variety show Later with Jools Holland, as well as their forthcoming record and its producer, former Suede guitarist Bernard Butler.

Be on the lookout for this up and coming band called HTR. They just released a 4 track EP, and they are releasing another in the fall. They are working alongside Richard Lloyd from Television. www.myspace.com/HTR
