Exclusive: Yeah Yeah Yeahs' SPIN Photo Shoot
Video
To photograph the cover for SPIN's March issue, we rendezvoused with New York-bred rockers Yeah Yeah Yeahs in the band's old stomping grounds: downtown Manhattan. SPIN.com captured it all in an exclusive behind-the-scenes video below.

With Takay behind the camera (he shot Coldplay for our June 2008 cover story), Nick Zinner and Brian Chase struck poses while Karen O lugged a massive disco ball around the studio -- a clever touch considering her band's transformation from gritty punks to dance-floor disco champions on their new album, It's Blitz!.
"There's no comparison to the feeling you get when you're dancing like your life depends on it," Karen O tells SPIN.
Our video appears below, and its soundtrack is "Zero," the dancetastic first single off It's Blitz!. Be on the lookout for SPIN's March issue, on newsstands now.
