Who: Reigning alt-rockers Pearl Jam return to the road, sandwiching their Bonnaroo appearance with ten East Coast dates. Kings of Leon and Ted Leo and the Pharmacists split the tour's opening spots.

What: A 10-date jaunt ascending the East Coast from opening gig in West Palm Beach, FL June 11 to concluding set June 30 in Mansfield, MA.

Should I go: Absolutely. Pearl Jam rarely venture out of the headlining-a-festival slot nowadays, and to catch the band on tour is a must, especially considering the awesome opening acts.

I don't know how Ted Leo is ending up as an opener for Pearl Jam, but I'm glad he is getting some recognition. After all these years, I never thought I'd see Ted Leo at MSG. These are going to be some effing great shows! Also, the ticketing scheme for fan club members is really interesting this tour. Seating will be decided by fan club seniority as usual... but rows 1 & 2 and 9 & 10 will be randomly given to any fan club member. That should give some newer fans some amazing experiences!
