There are three things you need to know about Beastie Boys' set at Bonnaroo Friday night:

1. The trio recruited fellow New York rapper Nas to join them onstage to debut a new hip-hop song off their upcoming fall release, Hot Sauce Committee.

2. They spent 60 percent of the show playing their instruments.
