A Letter to Panic! Fans

Panic! at the Disco is covering classic alternative rock songs on their current tour, and here are loads of reasons why that's an awesome thing to do.

Dear fans of Panic! at the Disco,

I've had the pleasure of meeting a few thousand of you this week at Panic's New York show, and so many of you visited SPIN.com to check our exclusive photo of the band's new video for "Lying Is the Most Fun a Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off." It's pretty phenomenal to see a young rock band with so many devoted fans.

Meet the Red Romance

Three years ago, I wrote the first ever press release for a band called Ambulance LTD, and in 2004 they released a self-titled debut that has been one of the most universally liked records in my collection. Eventually, they evolved into a super live act as well, routinely stunning audiences with their energetic amalgamation of American rock's best bits.

So, the Husky G column has been somewhat dormant for awhile; let's just say I prefer hibernation in warm weather. In the cold months, I'm much more prone to running around town and soaking up the goodness, and, in turn, delivering said goodness to you.

Usually, when an employee leaves a company, it's either bitter or sweet, not a combination of the two. But the case of my buddy Sarah Lewitinn's departure from Spin earlier this year, bucked that trend.
