Pop star and wife to Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz, Ashlee Simpson, has signed on with the CW's latest revamp of an old show, Melrose Place.

Perhaps more surprising than the fact that Fall Out Boy Pete Wentz and pop starlet Ashlee Simpson opted to name their son Bronx Mowgli Wentz, with his middle name coming from their favorite Jungle Book character, is the fact their favorite character is Mowgli and not Baloo. (Um, "The Bare Necessities" anyone? No contest!)
