Feist's new music video for "The Water," a tune off her breakout 2007 album The Reminder, is a lot different from the peppy web hit that was the clip for "1234." In fact, pretty much the only thing they have in common is Feist.

In the music world, the term "experimental" is used loosely; it's often applied to anything outside of traditional drums, bass, and guitar. But the Happiness Project, Broken Social Scene, and Do Make Say Think musician Charles Spearin's new endeavor, just may restore the term's clout.

The initial lineup for Florida's 7th annual Langerado Music Festival has been unveiled, and already the event is gearing up to be an absolute must. Death Cab For Cutie, Snoop Dogg, Ryan Adams and the Cardinals, and Gym Class Heroes will all perform, as well as Dashboard Confessional, Broken Social Scene, Cold War Kids, Girl Talk, and the Faint.

A jaw-dropping collection of indie rock's finest have contributed exclusive new songs to Dark Was the Night, a 32-track album out February 17 via 4AD, which will benefit the Red Hot Organization, a charity dedicated to raising funds and awareness for HIV and AIDS.

It appears those furry rascals on Sesame Street may have worn out ol' Feist, for the north-of-the-border singer is planning to step away from music and "rest for a minute" after the mind-boggling success of her album The Reminder.
