Maybe it's the eerie tonal resemblance vocalist Felipe Flores bears to fellow spine-tingler (Smog); maybe it's the way that Flores and co-vocalist Rosa Bordallo harmonize in the offbeat fashion of John Doe and Exene Cervenka.
