This Sunday, November 23, fans' 15-year wait for Guns N' Roses' Chinese Democracy will finally come to an end. But there's one particular fan -- and former touring partner -- who's "not losing sleep waiting" for its arrival: Metallica's James Hetfield.

You know the holidays are near when the music biz releases new albums by Kanye West, the Killers, Scott Weiland, and Guns N' Roses all in one jam-packed week. GNR's 15-years-in-the-making Chinese Democracy arrives Sun., Nov.23; the others drop on the more-traditional Tues., Nov. 25.

Maybe it's the fact that I'm listening to it on my computer and not, say, in a car, that makes it feel less than real. After all, we've been here before: (alleged) tracks from the mythic, Sasquatch-like Chinese Democracy leaked last year, and we downloaded them, tentatively, straining to hear some sort of genetic connection to the Guns N' Roses we all remember and romanticize.

It's been a week since we last reported on the November 23 release date of Guns N' Roses Chinese Democracy, but already the long-delayed album's exclusive Best Buy release has been postponed yet again…by two days.
