Just weeks after their much-discussed performance on Saturday Night Live, the Killers have announced North American tour dates in support of their upcoming album, Day & Age, out November 25 via Island Records.

In case you missed it, this weekend's Saturday Night Live was a hit -- with a return appearance from alum Tina Fey, who impersonated Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, and Las Vegas rockers the Killers, who unveiled two new tunes -- "Human" and "Spaceman" -- off their forthcoming album, Day & Age.

Hold on to your (Santa) hats: Nevada's masters of pomp-rock, the Killers, will record a Christmas single with piano-pop mega-star Elton John, NME.com reports [via The Sun].
