Rap superstar Lil Wayne acts and lives like a bonafide rock star. But now it seems the New Orleans-bred emcee is switching his music to match his lifestyle and will record a rock'n'roll album!

Wreathed in smoke, with a long spliff hanging from his lips, Lil Wayne rocks back and forth, staring intently at the fingers of his left hand as they dance across the neck of a blue Gibson electric guitar.

Last night, in the first-ever TV concert to celebrate the unveiling of the Grammy nominees, Lil Wayne, who's already poised to walk with 2008's best selling album, led the pack with eight nods, including Album of the Year and Best Rap Album for his blockbuster Tha Carter III.

Here's a riddle: What looks like Tha Carter III, is called Tha Carter III, is by the same guy who put out Tha Carter III, but isn't technically the first Tha Carter III? Duh, it's Tha Carter III!
