It's back to school time, rock'n'roll fans!

This week, Lollapalooza invaded Chicago with more than 130 bands banging out sets in the blazing heat. Plus, Jack White released his first solo track, Paramore dropped their new video, music great Les Paul died at 94, and Brand New's Jesse Lacy gave his first interview in three years.

If you thought Paramore's new single "Ignorance" was angry, just watch the song's newly-released music video -- it's a dark clip mirroring what frontwoman Hayley Williams told SPIN.com that the scathing track was all about: "Feeling judged, singled out, and betrayed" by your bandmates. It doesn't get much bigger than spending the summer opening for No Doubt, so Paramore is scaling things down for a headlining jaunt this fall, playing clubs and theaters across the country.

Paramore's brand new eyes, their third studio album and follow-up to 2007's breakout Riot!, is due out September 29. We dropped by the offices of the Tennessee-based band's record label (Fueled By Ramen) to hear six of the 11 tracks.
