Tegan and Sara Reveal New Album Details
Twin sister recording duo Tegan and Sara are self-proclaimed narcissists, so it was hardly a shock that they chose to announce the title of their sixth album, Sainthood (out Oct. 27), with a self-made video -- loaded with plenty of their trademark sisterly banter.

Our ongoing series of rockers talking about their favorite literary works continues with Sara Quin, one half of buzz band Tegan and Sara. Quin stopped by SPIN's New York offices to talk about one of her favorite novels, Richard Ford's 1996 effort, Independence Day, about a middle-aged American everyman whose life unravels over a Fourth of July weekend.

Raconteurs, TV on the Radio, and Vampire Weekend Headline Treasure Island Festival
The Treasure Island Music Festival closed out the summer last weekend in San Francisco with an all-star lineup, including the Raconteurs, TV on the Radio, Vampire Weekend, Tegan and Sara, Okkervil River, Goldfrapp, Fleet Foxes, Port O’Brien, and Hot Chip.
