After a seven-year absence, Toadies returned this year with an excellent new album, No Deliverance, and a supporting tour. And when frontman Vaden Todd Lewis and Co. finally rolled into Fort Worth, TX, for reunion show Dia De Los Toadies, the band played a kick-ass set on the shores of Possum Kingdom Lake. When we met up with the Toadies on a Manhattan rooftop yesterday afternoon, we were not alone, forced to conduct our taping under the watchful eyes of Communist leader Vladimir Lenin, a statue of whom adorned our location in Manhattan's Lower East Side.
