Rihanna is currently at the top of the charts, singing the hook on Eminem’s massive Recovery hit “Love the Way You Lie.” But on November 2 the Barbadian pop star will return with an album of her own, called Loud.

Its first single, “Only Girl (In the World),” debuted Tuesday morning on On Air with Ryan Seacrest. Listen here.

Over the weekend Rihanna discussed the album in a webchat on her official site: “I’m done recording the whole album. I made sure not to let you down with my music! You guys are always defending me, so now you’ve got some great songs to justify it. I wanted the next step in the evolution of Rihanna…”

“Get LOUD everybody, get crazy, get excited, cuz I’m pumped,” she added. “I’m just gonna be ME, cuz that’s what u guys love the most, and that’s what makes me feel best… Just being normal, normal for me is LOUD! Sassy, fun, flirty, energetic.”

“Only Girl (In the World)” is just that. A departure from her last album, 2009’s Rated R, which found the 22-year-old playing tough, Loud‘s first single is a club-ready banger with euro-trance synths and a stomping bass and drums. “I want you to make me feel like I’m the only girl in the world,” she sings.
