Kanye Drops Heaviest Song Yet

Five weeks before he releases My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Kanye West is continuing with his GOOD Friday series. The rapper unveiled his latest track “Take One for the Team,” this weekend, which features guest spots from Keri Hilson and Pusha T. Head here to download it for free.

“Take One for the Team” is Kanye’s heaviest, most brooding track yet, a six-minute banger with a heavily-distorted boom-bap and an eerie syntheszier melody reminiscent of the Halloween theme. “Doin’ my thing, pocket full of green,” he raps. “Hand on my dick in my thousand dollar jeans.”

Not surprisingly, West went on a Twitter rampage this weekend. The rapper posted his proposed album cover for My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, which depicts a drawing of two creatures having sex. West says the image has been rejected by his label. “In the ’70s album covers had actual nudity,” he Tweeted. “It’s so funny that people forget that…Everything has been so commercialized now.” Check out the art below.

In related news, Kanye West will finally premiere a long-form video for “Runaway” this week. The 35-minute-long clip will air simultaneously on BET, MTV, MTV2 and VH1 on October 23 at 8 P.M.
